heard.. it's fun, light, and amazing.. great job, J.

“FULL MONTY”CAST MEMBER J. MICHAEL ZYGO RELEASES
COUNTRY MUSIC CD!
Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre’s production of The Full
Monty has audiences howling with non-stop laughter
throughout the two hour performance. The production
is the theatre’s 100th show and features a top notch
cast with skillful acting chops and terrific voices.
Cast member J. Michael Zygo plays the role of Malcom
MacGregor, one of the leads in the smash hit musical.
In addition to acting and singing on Broadway Palm’s
stage nightly he and musical partner, Harold Barnard
II recently released their first country music CD,
titled “From the Road”. The talented duo goes by the
name of Zygo and The Deuce. With hopes of becoming the
next “big thing” in country music, they found an
alliance with each other and discovered a love for
writing country songs. The CD of original songs was
written out of the solitude that comes with life on
the road. After a year and a half of touring,
experiencing life on a bus, and living out of hotels
they are hoping the CD captures the spirit of life
“From the Road.
The CD, “From the Road” has both the traditional
country music feel as well as some contemporary
sounds. Both men were raised around the music of
Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Alabama
and Kenny Rogers, but when Mike was introduced to the
newer pop and rock styles of country music with
artists such as Keith Urban, he was hooked. The new
CD even has a song called “Table 23” with the singers
lamenting over a “Hooter’s Girl”. About the new CD
Mike said, “We hope that people interested in every
kind of music will find something on our album that
they can appreciate, or at least tap their toes to.”
Mike and his wife Jill Zygo are both performing in
The Full Monty now through November 18. After each
performance of The Full Monty Mike and Jill are in the
Broadway Palm lobby showcasing his new CD for exiting
Monty audiences. The CD, “From the Road” is also
available at www.zygoandthedeuce.com.
